HSQE Coordinator - Technomar Shipping Inc.

Technomar Shipping Inc. is seeking a dedicated HSQE Coordinator to join our team in its Safety & Quality Department.

As the HSQE Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental practices within our organization.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental programs and initiatives.
• Monitor, review SMS Forms received from the vessels and give feedback.
• Prepare Root Cause Analysis and monitoring the corrective actions taken from any deficiencies identified during internal or external audits or inspections, e.g. PSC, Flag State, certification audits.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses and develop strategies to prevent reoccurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve HSQE performance.

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Shipping / Maritime Studies
• Excellent command of the English language
• Computer literacy
• Minimum of 2-3 years of similar experience
• Extensive experience and knowledge of ISM/ISPS/MLC, Root Cause Analysis
• Experience in handling audits
• Knowledge of vessel registration processes
