Post-Fixing/Back Office in Commercial Department

Job description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional to coordinate all steps after a deal is agreed, making sure the voyage runs smoothly, the paperwork is correct, and the company gets paid on time.

What you’ll do

  • Day-to-day correspondence with Charterers/Brokers for our container fleet fixtures execution (TELIX software).

  • Charter parties drafting/checking in BIMCO Smartcon and SEALIVE platforms (occasionally drafting of MOAs).

  • Follow-up of the handover procedures during S&P deals of dry cargo/container vessels.

  • Physical/electronic filling (for both containers and bulkers).

  • Keeping various data in Excel files (vessels’ employment tables, etc.).

  • Data entry for all new voyages/invoices handling (BENEFIT software).

  • Weekly update of dry bulk vessel positions for management perusal.

  • Administrative work, preparation/organization of special events, and handling DHL courier.

  • Weekend & holidays shifts – 24/7 availability on company mobile/laptop.

Job requirements

What you bring

  • 2+ years of experience in post-fixture/commercial operations in container shipping (owner or charterer side).

  • Clear communication, strong organization, and the ability to manage many details under time pressure.

  • Soft computer skills.

  • Comfortable working with numbers and documents; high attention to accuracy and deadlines.

  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
