Technical Coordinator (Newbuildings)

Technomar Shipping Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Team as a Technical Coordinator, reporting directly to our Technical Advisor. This position supports our 17 new-building projects, covering vessels delivered from the yards to Technomar from 2029 onward.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative and secretarial support to the new building team, handling correspondence, filing, and follow-up of pending items.
- Maintain accurate filing of plans, drawings, specifications, class documentation, and makers' records, including revision and approval status.
- Track incoming and outgoing communication with shipyards, class societies, makers, and site teams, ensuring each request reaches the right person on time.
- Prepare, format, and circulate reports, presentations, minutes of meetings, and progress updates.
- Assist with meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and general office coordination for the department.

- Master's degree in engineering.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Prior experience in a secretarial or administrative role, preferably within the shipping industry, will be considered an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, mainly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle several requests at the same time.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams, site teams, shipyards, and external vendors.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and proper record-keeping.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Employment Terms

This position is offered on a fixed-term contract ranging from 6 to 16 months, depending on project requirements, with the possibility of renewal based on business needs and project developments.
