Treasury Officer

Treasury Officer - Technomar Shipping Inc.

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a dynamic Treasury function? Technomar Shipping Inc. is looking for a Treasury Officer to join our team and support the daily and periodic treasury operations in a fast-paced shipping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Retrieve and distribute daily balances & hires to the Freight department

• Prepare Charterers' request forms for the Chartering department

• Monitor loan due dates, prepare loan payments, and review loan advices

• Prepare payments and liaise with banks on various issues

• Support Finance and Legal departments with treasury-related requests

• Post accounting entries

• Manage bank account openings & closures

• Conduct bank reconciliations across all entities

• Perform cash analysis

• Handle auditors’ requests (internal/external)

• Accounting background with a few years of practical experience

• Familiarity with Benefit software is a plus

• High accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to handle tight deadlines and large volumes of transactions

• Understanding of banking operations (payments, transfers, account reporting)

• Previous experience in a shipping company is a plus
